Kindergarten students visited the Coulee on Wednesday, December 8, 2021!
We created land-art by combining natural and man-made materials with artist Karen Tamminga-Patton.
We spoke with Stephanie Bartlett who shared some words about Na'a (Mother Earth) from our Blackfoot Elder Saa'kokoto (who was unable to join us due to being ill).
We worked in small groups to use natural materials to create a masterpiece on the land.
Thank you to our WONDERFUL volunteers for supporting us with this visit - without you, we would not be able to make days like these happen - merci!
Please take a look at some of our pictures to see all about our day!
